Green Environmental Services leadership is comprised of over 18 years of pest management experience. Joe Mizell is a 1988 graduate of Florida State University and also served as an Army Officer who led troops to Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm. Joe’s pest management career started in 1992 while working for a company that specialized in commercial and residential pest management. Joe started Green Environmental Services because of his growing concern for the over use of pesticides in the home and office environments by the industry. Joe worked as the Assistant Director and Director of the Florida Pest Control Association for 5 years. Joe has spent his professional career learning from large and small pest control companies and has developed a “Green Guard” service that utilizes minimal pesticide use combined with exclusion, monitoring and mechanical control techniques. Joe is currently studying the use of Bio treatments which is the future of the industry.
